Tornados, Christmas, and Playlists
A fine weekend to you all...
What's all this about a Tornado in London ? I thought they were joking at first, but no, a phenomenon certainly not native to this part of the world swept through a part of North London just 2 days ago. Oh sure, it was just a little one, burned out in 20 to 30 seconds, but during that time, left many people injured (thankfully no fatalities), and about 100 families homeless, with devastation everywhere, homes and cars destroyed, debris littering the streets. How strange, mid morning, all went black apparently, and it happened - then it was gone.
Christmas - ah, the politically correct (that should be incorrect !) are at it again. Johnny touches on this, rather angrily, on his programme tonight. A bunch of people apparently want to ban Xmas trees and decorations, because it 'isolates certain cultures'. Ahem.
Idiots.
You know, I heard there are plans to have a colony on the moon, soon - perhaps these sort of people are the ones we can send there first, yes ? And leave them to rot.
Talking of Xmas... plans afoot to do a one-off 'Live' Programme, to be Broadcast via Live365, over the holiday period, from AZ Towers, hosted by Johnny Reece...
Watch this space...
On to Pod 1 and its problems - just being sorted today, 10th December, at last. We have a lot to catch up on this one, with new shows from Katrine, Johnny Reece, and Gil Legine all to go up there, so give us a couple of days. Full update here when we have the Pod playlist exactly how we want it.
On to tonight, and the Johnny Reece Show (including his barbed comments about political correctness) hits your ears at just after 8pm, 20.00 hours, (UK time) tonight. That's via www.rti.fm, and also on Sky 0195. Be there !
