Album Zone drops RTI for debut Programme Broadcasts
Sunday, sunday, and I hope you've had a good weekend.
It's been one of those quiet ones. Good !
Apart from that, it has been more than slightly irritating, with RTI getting the AZ Scheduled programmes wrong yet again (Sundays 9pm show aired at 8pm Saturday, this time, and the same one occured tonight, meaning the Barry De Foyle show was not aired - luckily it's now on our Pod).
You'd think, after two and a half years, they would either get it right, or have someone in place able to read the date of the Programme.
Hmmm. It seems not. As this is clearly something which never seems to change, we have no choice but to move the 'debut airings' of our Programmes elsewhere.
We cannot continue to advertise and promote our own Programmes only to find they are not getting aired as advertised, that is simply amateur and unprofessional - so, the change occurs as of now.
However, no matter, as most of you know, we decided some weeks back that because of this endless nonsense, that as of September 2007, all 'debut' airings of Album Zone Programmes will be via our friends at Radio Seagull, in the Netherlands, who broadcast around this funny little planet of ours, via www.radioseagull.com.
Each programme will have 2 plays, at different days and times/timezones, before moving on to our very own Pod - where you can play or download them any time you wish, 24/7.
Each Album Zone show remains on the Pod for 14 days only.
No more, no less.
Finally, some weeks later, we'll send them to RTI for repeat.
So, if you're a Sky listener - do bear this in mind - as of now, the Sky and RTI airings will all be older repeats - for the very reasons outlined in Paragraph 1, above.
We have been forced to make the change - it was simply too inefficient for too long otherwise, and RTI were clearly not going to fix it.
This weeks Album Zone via Seagull Programmes, broadcast at 18.00 hrs (UK time) on Mon, Tue, Wed, and 02.00 hrs (UK time) on Fri, Sat, Sun, are as follows :
